It is a low-calorie food, very low in carbohydrates and high water content. It contains minerals such as potassium and magnesium, as well as vitamins A (beta-carotene), C and E. It is mainly consumed raw as a base for salads.
Lettuce
It is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber, provides few calories, contains no fat or cholesterol and has a positive effect on eyes, skin, and mucous membranes. It has high contents of vitamin A, E and Group B, such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pyridoxine, folic acid, and retinol. It contains minerals such as calcium, potassium, manganese, copper and phosphorus.
Carrot
A high-nutritional-value vegetable, since it contains large amounts of important antioxidants such as vitamin A and vitamin C. It provides folic acid and iron, which helps to prevent anemia. It also contains calcium and provides a high content of fiber.
